The Center's research will leverage the full range and depth of Yale’s academic resources and collaborate with other organizations to examine thethe interaction amongst corporations, capital markets and society, and how that ineraction affects corproate governance. Measures of performance, such as shareholder value, value to other stakeholders, the interests of the various constituencies of corporations are all part of the Center’s program. MCCGP seeks a broad understanding of how legal and social environments define and influence the governance and behavior of corporations. Research will include corporations of all types ranging from the family owned to the totally globalized.
Our research and programs are intended to develop more fully the core theme of the Center by exploring the means by which corporations may enhance society, while remaining competitive in their respective markets. We will look to enhance corporate governance to resolve the tensions that arise.
