Office Aid/ Researcher (Student)
The Millstein Center seeks student who is enthusiastic, tenacious, and eager to learn to assist with several new undertakings, including a directory of global corporate governance centers and institutes and a calendar of corporate governance events around the world. The successful candidate will also assist with the Center events and general office duties. The Office aide will assist the Center in the development and implementation of these projects. Duties and Responsibilities - Research and data-entry for the Corporate Governance Directory - Research and maintenance of an on-line Corporate Governance Calendar - Assist with research and maintenance of the Center's Mailing List as necessary - Assisting with other related Center events as necessary - General administrative duties.

Job description: The Millstein Center seeks students who are enthusiastic and eager to learn about corporate governance. The Center seeks assistance with one of its new undertakings - a directory of global corporate governance, sponsored by the IFC/World Bank Global Corporate Governance Forum (GCGF). This is a long-term project to assemble the world's first continuously updated, all-encompassing, and authoritative directory of global corporate governance contacts, both institutional and individual. The work predominantly involves internet research. The successful candidate will also assist with Center general office duties as necessary, and possibly research for an on-line calendar of corporate governance events, assistance with events, the newsletter, and/or mailing lists as necessary. |

You have the profile to engage with actual and potential clients at the highest (board) level and further develop NeAd’s client base. You also have strong leadership, analytical and report writing skills that will allow you to effectively lead a team of analysts in client engagements. Ideally, you speak, read and write fluently a second European language or Arabic in addition to your flawless spoken and written English.

You are probably an MBA or accounting graduate based in or around London with an interest in corporate governance issues. You like to travel. You have been trained in micro-economics, statistics, accounting and finance, organisation and investment management and are familiar with fundamental aspects of economic regulation and company law. You are also familiar with standard office applications such as MS Access and Excel enabling you to assess, review and generate reports. You are methodical, with strong analytical, research and report writing skills and a keen eye for details. Knowledge of corporate governance issues is desirable but not a prerequisite. GOVERNANCE ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT TEAM LEAD
RiskMetrics Group, ISS Governance Services division, is the world's leading provider of proxy voting and corporate governance solutions and is immediately seeking to expand its Account Management team. Successful candidates will have a corporate governance or financial background working with external clients, the interest and aptitude to learn RMG’s products and an ability to guide clients to better use those products as well as exhibit a passion for the governance business. In addition, Account Management Team Leads must be adaptable, able to lead Account Managers and cross-organization teams and able to represent RiskMetrics Group at all levels of management at clients. As RiskMetrics Group continues to rapidly grow, clients span some of the world's largest hedge funds, pension funds and asset managers. Running a portfolio of clients exposes Account Managers and Team Leads to a wide range of institution types and ensures a challenging client-facing role, suiting candidates keen to learn about corporate governance and proxy voting services and to then bring insight and best practices to those client organizations.
Performance is based on a combination of factors including leadership of Account Manager teams, driving the ISS Governance Services business, account renewal rates, proactive management and client communication, growing contract levels and successful pre-sales activity. In the pre-sales role, the Account Management Team Lead partners with the sales team, bringing industry and product expertise to initial client meetings. After a client has begun using RMG’s solutions, the Account Manager owns and manages the experience clients have with RiskMetrics Group. This entails offering proactive support, expertise on corporate governance and proxy voting solutions, and participating in the client renewal process. The Team Lead will act as Account Manager for several key clients themselves and are ultimately responsible for the successful management of client relationships owned by Account Managers on the team that they lead.
