October 14, 2008: Value Funds: Constructive Activism (Tentative date)
The Value Funds: Constructive Activism policy briefing will focus on long-term activist techniques and will be based on discussions at the Center’s "Value Funds Roundtable: Constructive Activism". This roundtable, organized by the Center with the support of D3 Family Funds and Third Avenue Management, will facilitate 15 responsible, long-term investment funds to cross-pollinate ideas related to methods of applying shareholder activism, to share knowledge among practitioners and experts, and to assess demand for a permanent network of “value-funds.”
